So with all of that in mind you want to know what is the best surgery. This depends on your BMI or how much over weight you are. If you are more than 100 pounds over your ideal body weight, then you are a candidate for a gastric Bypass. If you are less than 100 pounds over weight, then you could look into the lapband.
