 A lifestyle change works the best.  It is the little things that you do all the time that work the best.  For example.
 Taking the stairs and walking whenever possible.
Eating very small portions.
EAting less calaries, carbs and saturated fat.
Working out with weights as well as doing cardio.
getting enough sleep is also important to keep your energy level up during the day as well as repairing your body.
If you do a combination of these things instead of crash dieting,  you will be good.
please do not ever take diet pills,  they are so bad for your heart.  everything in consistant moderation is the key.   Remember.....lifestyle changes and a good balance is best.........
Also it is the way your clothes fit and not the scale that will give you a more accurate account on how you are doing with the weight loss....
 taking a fun dance class or some type of cardio class is also a great idea.....
